Creating My Treasure Boxes

  I use several different techniques for creating these boxes. Some are natural pieces of wood that I carve. Others are made using a bandsaw and book matched hardwoods of various species. Some pieces are inlayed with turquoise or other types of material. Each piece is sanded through seven grits to obtain a glass smooth surface. I then hand rub the finish to bring out the colors and unique character and grain.
